Shipping policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how orders placed through sanejellytech.org are processed, dispatched and delivered.

This policy should be read alongside our:

Nothing in this policy limits or replaces any rights that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.

1. Order processing

Orders are processed after payment has been successfully received.

We aim to hand standard, in-stock orders to the delivery carrier within one business day of receiving payment.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays observed by us in England.

Orders placed during weekends or bank holidays will normally begin processing on the next business day.

Our one-business-day aim relates to dispatch, not final delivery. Delivery takes place after the parcel has been accepted and transported by the carrier.

Processing may take longer during unusually busy periods, where additional checks are required, or because of circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where we expect a significant delay, we will contact you using the details supplied with your order.

2. Custom-built, specially sourced and made-to-order products

Custom-built PCs, specially sourced components, pre-orders and other made-to-order products may require additional preparation time.

An estimated build, sourcing or dispatch timeframe will be:

  • Displayed on the relevant page;

  • Explained before your order is confirmed; or

  • Agreed with you separately in writing.

Where a specific timeframe has been agreed, that timeframe will take priority over our standard one-business-day dispatch aim.

We will contact you if a material delay affects an agreed timeframe.

Some custom-built or specially configured products may be made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Different cancellation rules may apply in those circumstances. Further information is available in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Customers interested in a tailored computer can submit their requirements through our Custom PC Build Request page.

3. Shipping destinations

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.

The presence of another country or currency within the website’s regional settings does not confirm that delivery is available to that country.

Orders placed with a delivery address outside the United Kingdom may be cancelled and refunded.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

4. Delivery options and charges

Available delivery services and their charges will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Delivery availability and pricing may depend on:

  • The destination;

  • The size, weight or value of the order;

  • The products being purchased;

  • Packaging requirements; and

  • Carrier availability.

No separate delivery charge will be added after checkout unless an additional service or redelivery cost is subsequently requested and agreed.

Any delivery timeframe shown at checkout is an estimate unless we expressly confirm that a particular delivery date or service is guaranteed.

5. Order and dispatch confirmation

After placing an order, customers will normally receive an order-confirmation email at the email address supplied during checkout.

An order confirmation confirms that the order has been received. It does not mean that the parcel has already been dispatched.

Where available, a dispatch confirmation and tracking details will be provided after the order has been handed to the carrier.

Customers should check their spam or junk folder if an expected email has not arrived.

6. Tracking information

Tracking information will be supplied where the selected delivery service includes tracking.

Carrier tracking may not update immediately after dispatch. It can take time for a parcel to receive its first physical scan or for tracking information to appear online.

Tracking information is provided by the carrier and may occasionally display delayed or incomplete updates. This does not remove Sane Jelly Tech’s responsibility to assist with a delivery problem.

7. Delivery timeframes

We aim to deliver orders within the timeframe displayed at checkout or otherwise communicated to the customer.

Unless a different delivery period has been expressly agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made.

A longer agreed delivery period may apply to:

  • Custom-built PCs;

  • Specially sourced components;

  • Pre-order products;

  • Made-to-order products; and

  • Other orders requiring additional preparation.

Carrier estimates are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed delivery service or specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.

8. Responsibility for goods during delivery

Goods remain at Sane Jelly Tech’s risk until they come into the physical possession of:

  • The customer; or

  • A person identified or nominated by the customer to receive them.

An exception may apply where the customer independently arranges a carrier that was not offered or named by Sane Jelly Tech. In that situation, responsibility may pass when the goods are handed to the customer’s chosen carrier.

9. Safe places, neighbours and nominated recipients

Where the carrier permits customers to nominate a safe place, neighbour or other recipient, customers should ensure that the selected option is suitable and secure.

We and the carrier may rely on delivery instructions entered or approved by the customer, subject to applicable law.

A person nominated by the customer may accept delivery on the customer’s behalf.

If a customer believes that a parcel has not been left in the selected place or delivered to the nominated person, they should contact us so that we can investigate with the carrier.

10. Delivery delays

Delivery can occasionally be affected by matters including:

  • Severe weather;

  • Carrier disruption;

  • Industrial action;

  • Transport or infrastructure problems;

  • Unexpected demand;

  • Bank holidays;

  • Emergency restrictions; or

  • Other events outside our reasonable control.

While we cannot prevent every carrier delay, Sane Jelly Tech remains responsible for fulfilling the order and assisting the customer where a delivery problem occurs.

Where a delivery is significantly delayed, customers should contact us through our Contact page.

We may investigate with the carrier, agree a revised delivery date, arrange a replacement, or issue a refund where appropriate or legally required.

Nothing in this section affects any right to cancel because an agreed or legally required delivery deadline has not been met.

11. Address changes

Customers should check their delivery information carefully before completing checkout.

To request an address change, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

For security reasons, some address changes may require additional verification or cancellation and replacement of the original order.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information supplied by the customer, but we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve the issue.

12. Failed delivery and returned parcels

A parcel may be returned to us where:

  • The address supplied was incorrect or incomplete;

  • The customer did not collect the parcel;

  • The carrier was unable to complete delivery after reasonable attempts;

  • Delivery was refused; or

  • The parcel was otherwise undeliverable.

We will contact the customer after the parcel is returned.

Where the failed delivery resulted from circumstances within the customer’s control, we may ask the customer to pay a reasonable additional delivery cost before the order is sent again. Any charge will be explained before redelivery.

Refusing delivery does not always provide us with clear notice that the customer wishes to cancel the order. Customers wishing to cancel should contact us directly and follow the process in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

13. Split shipments

We may divide an order into more than one parcel where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Product availability;

  • Parcel size or weight;

  • Protective-packaging requirements;

  • Carrier restrictions; or

  • The safe transport of high-value or sensitive components.

Separate parcels may arrive at different times and may have separate tracking numbers.

Customers will not be charged an additional delivery fee solely because Sane Jelly Tech chooses to divide an order after it has been placed.

14. Missing or lost parcels

Customers should contact us if:

  • Tracking has not updated for an unusually long period;

  • The estimated delivery period has passed;

  • A parcel appears to have been lost; or

  • Tracking shows delivery but the parcel cannot be located.

Before contacting us about a parcel marked as delivered, customers may wish to check:

  • The nominated safe place;

  • Other members of the household;

  • Immediate neighbours;

  • Reception or building-management areas; and

  • Any delivery photograph or carrier message.

We will investigate unresolved cases with the carrier.

The carrier may require a reasonable investigation period before confirming that a parcel is lost.

Where a parcel for which Sane Jelly Tech remains responsible is confirmed as lost, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • Sending a replacement;

  • Providing an equivalent product where the original is unavailable; or

  • Issuing a refund.

Customers are not required to resolve a lost-parcel claim alone with a carrier selected or offered by Sane Jelly Tech, although the carrier may contact them during its investigation.

15. Damaged deliveries

Customers should inspect parcels and products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Where an item appears damaged in transit, please contact us promptly and provide, where available:

  • The customer’s name;

  • The order number;

  • A description of the damage;

  • Photographs or video of the product;

  • Photographs of the external and internal packaging; and

  • Any relevant carrier information.

Customers should retain the product and packaging while the issue is being assessed. They should not dispose of either unless we confirm that they may do so.

Prompt notification helps us investigate the damage with the carrier, but it does not remove or shorten any statutory rights.

Where goods were damaged while they remained our responsibility, we will provide an appropriate remedy under applicable law and our Returns and Refunds Policy.

16. Incorrect or incomplete orders

Customers should contact us if an order:

  • Contains the wrong product;

  • Is missing a product or accessory;

  • Contains the wrong quantity; or

  • Does not match the order confirmation.

We will investigate and arrange an appropriate solution. This may include:

  • Sending the missing item;

  • Sending the correct item;

  • Arranging a return;

  • Providing an equivalent replacement; or

  • Issuing a refund.

Sane Jelly Tech will cover reasonable return or redelivery costs where the error is ours.

17. High-value products and custom-built PCs

High-value products and custom-built PCs may be sent using tracked, insured or signed-for delivery services.

We may use additional protective packaging or divide equipment into separate protected packages where reasonably necessary to reduce the risk of transit damage.

For example, a large or heavy component may be packaged separately from a custom PC where we consider this safer than shipping it installed.

Where a component requires installation after delivery, appropriate instructions or support information will be supplied.

Customers receiving a custom PC should:

  1. Inspect the external packaging before opening it.

  2. Check the computer and any separately packaged components for visible damage.

  3. Remove all identified internal transit packaging.

  4. Follow any setup or installation instructions supplied.

  5. Contact us before powering on the system if there is obvious damage or uncertainty about its condition.

Further details about covered hardware faults and custom-built PCs are available in our Warranty Policy.

18. Cancelling or changing an order before dispatch

Customers wishing to cancel or change an order before dispatch should contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee that an order can be changed once processing, sourcing or assembly has begun.

Where an order has already been dispatched, it may need to be returned under our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Different cancellation rules may apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Where this applies to a custom-built or made-to-order product, it will be explained before the order is confirmed.

Rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are not removed because a product was personalised or custom-built.

19. Returns and refunds

This policy covers order processing, dispatch and delivery.

Full information about the following is available in our Returns and Refunds Policy:

  • Change-of-mind cancellations;

  • Return timeframes;

  • Return eligibility;

  • Return postage;

  • Deductions for reduced item value;

  • Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods;

  • Non-returnable products;

  • Exchanges; and

  • Refund processing.

We do not apply an automatic restocking fee when a customer exercises a statutory right to cancel or return an item.

A reasonable deduction may be made where handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop has reduced the item’s value. Any deduction will reflect the actual reduction in value and will not be applied automatically.

A separate restocking or administration fee may apply only to a discretionary goodwill return outside statutory rights where the fee has been clearly agreed in advance and is fair and reasonable.

20. Warranty support

Delivery problems and warranty claims are handled separately.

Delivery problems generally concern events occurring before or at delivery, such as a missing, incorrect or transit-damaged parcel.

A warranty claim generally concerns an eligible fault that appears after the product has been delivered.

Products purchased directly from Sane Jelly Tech may be covered by our separate Warranty Policy, in addition to any statutory rights.

Customers should read that policy for information about:

  • The warranty period;

  • Covered faults;

  • Exclusions;

  • Custom-built PC coverage;

  • Warranty return costs; and

  • How to make a claim.

21. Statutory rights

Nothing in this Shipping and Delivery Policy is intended to restrict, exclude or replace any rights or remedies available under UK consumer law.

Where any part of this policy conflicts with a right that cannot legally be excluded, the applicable statutory right will take priority.
